The dream夢 of Hantan邯鄲 Hantan was the capital of Zhao during the Warring States Period. There, a young man, Rosei盧生, received a mysterious pillow枕 from an old man, 呂扇. When Rosei slept upon this pillow, he dreamed an entire lifetime of success and riches. However, when he woke up, the old man had yet to finish cooking炊 a single一 meal of yellow黄 rice粱.
